Growing up, my grandmother would always say, "stop and think" or "think, think, think" (Frankie, 1945 - 2001). She emphasized that you should listen first, then think about the process before responding or acting. Sometimes, we are too quick to act or react in the moment without thinking or planning, which can lead to unexpected outcomes.
